    Note: The successful candidate who does not have the NQF Level 5 Finance Management qualification will be required to obtain it within 18 months, in terms of the National Treasury Requirement. Appointments will be made on a 5 (five) year fixed term and will be subject to the signing of an employment contract, performance agreement and disclosure of financial interest. Job Description

Key performance areas: Establish key performance indicators for management of short and long term goals of the operations group Participate in developing Corporate vision and strategy in line with government policy and CoE mandate Ensure effective and efficient access to walk in centre services, a one-stop service to customers of the City Ensure effective and efficient call centre services Develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes and personnel designed to accommodate CoE objectives Drive alignment between policies, processes, and systems, specify departmental priorities and resource requirements whilst monitoring effectiveness Identify alternative solutions, develop scenarios and establish contingency plans aligned with departmental direction to resolve value chain conflicts Scan external environment to identify new acts and regulatory frameworks and utilize to adapt operating model in order to improve competitive Ensure the effective development and consolidation of reports that reflect organisational diagnostics and that can add value to developmental strategy Align diverse resources to deliver against longer-term organisation plans and CoE mandates and take corrective action to achieve strategic objectives Ensure integration of stakeholder relationships strategies and plans enabling effective delivery, compliance and governance Ensure that forums exists to continuously drive partnerships, business unit practice and process delivery Ensure effective integration between national and provincial social development ideals and initiative and departments associated delivery Qualifications Core Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Public Administration or relevant equivalent NQF Level 7 qualification Master’s degree in Business Administration or Public will serve as an 10 years’ management of which 5 years must have been at senior management level in a similar environment Extensive in stakeholder relationship management Strong leadership, strategic planning and management skills Strong project and programme management skills Knowledge of and ability to understand, interpret and implement legislation to the field of work
